Looking to sing your heart at? Or perhaps find some friends to split ramen with? Come and join us on Friday, February 13th!
JETAA Ottawa folks, join us for a night of belting your hearts out at VIP Karaoke Bar on Somerset! Whether it’s Enka, R&B, Anime OPs, or the opera, we want to hear you sing! We’ll be starting off at 7:00pm and finishing at 9:00pm!
When you’re all sung out, replenish your energy with a nice bowl of late-night ramen at Kinton Ramen!

KotoAn Wagashi is a specialty nerikiri business based out of Montreal. Nerikiri is a traditional snack made from bean paste and glutinous rice flour, and designed to reflect the various seasons and nature around us. Learn how it is made through one of their two workshops available on Saturday, February 7th, hosted by JETAA Ottawa at the Parkdale Food Centre!
Join us for a hands-on cooking class where you’ll learn to make a simple Japanese lunch, perfect for taking with you: onigiri rice balls of various sorts, sesame-sauce vegetables, and octopus hotdogs. This class will guide you through each step of the cooking process, including tips on where to purchase the ingredients.
The class includes meat (chicken), egg (mayo) and fish (tuna).
Basic knife skills are required for participation.
Minor youths under 15 must be accompanied by a parent, and children under 10 are not permitted. ** Please note that tickets are required for all participants, including youths.
Be sure to bring an apron, wear closed-toed shoes, and tie back long hair for safety.
