November 19: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Practice

We offered anyone in the Ottawa-Gatineau area a chance to practice their Japanese and assess their level of proficiency. It’s Free!

Date: Sunday, November 19, 2017
Location: University of Ottawa, Social Science Building, (120 University) Room: 7035,

We’re offering various levels for students with different Japanese proficiency, ranging from N5 (easiest) to N2 (more difficult).

The times for the different levels are:
N2, 9am-12noon.
N3, 12:15pm-3:15pm
N4, 3:20pm-5:30pm
N5, 5:45 pm- 8pm

We provided all needed materials, all that was needed was a pencil and eraser. At the end of the test, we handed out the answer sheets to everyone, and there was some time to discuss particularly difficult questions as a group.

What is the JLPT? The JLPT is officially administered by the Japan Foundation, via approved institutions around the world. As the closest official JLPT for people in our area is in Toronto, we’re planning this test as an unofficial practice of the JLPT.
