It’s time for the 年次総会 Annual General Meeting / 忘年会 Year End Party!
Date & Time: December 14, 1 PM – 4 PM
Venue is a private residence’s party room downtown so details will be shared via the registration on Eventbrite (below).
Bring yourself and your appetite for sushi to enjoy socializing, karaoke (with JOYSOUND™), and democracy. During the meeting portion, we’ll be talking about our activities, the financial health of our organization, and electing our board.
Interested in volunteering with us? Take a look at the positions here or just show up to ask questions. Whether you want to someday lead JETAA or just want a small job to try it out, there’ll be a senpai to guide you.

ケベック州の紅葉と露天風呂へLET’S GO!
It’s time for another year of hiking and “onsen”! JETAA Alumni and company, join us for an afternoon of hiking as we explore the Mackenzie Estate in Gatineau Park, checking out the old ruins and a waterfall nearby. Afterwards, relax your muscles at the popular Nordik Spa in Chelsea, which features a variety of outdoor hot baths!
While this is a paid-by-attendee event, JETAA Alumni members will receive approximately $20 off the entrance fee to Nordik Spa! The ticket’s reduced cost will be $74 (instead of $94). E-transfers will be sent to treasurer@jetaaottawa.ca. Tickets will then be purchased by a JETAA Ottawa exec. (Do not send money until asked). Register first for the event on Eventbrite here!
※ While there is no limit for people to come hiking, a maximum of 10 tickets are available for the Nordik Spa portion of this event.

Join JETAA for a free practice session on Saturday, November 2, 1 to 6 PM, at Sandy Hill Community Centre. Registration required (here!) – maximum 15 people, on a first-come, first-served basis.
You tell us your level and we’ll provide the materials! Feel free to bring your headphones for the listening portion.

A free virtual screening of One Summer Story『子供はわかってあげない』, co-presented with the Embassy of Japan in Canada in support of JET Programme Canada.
After registration, the streaming link will be sent to you on November 8th. You will be able to watch the film anytime between November 8, 5:59PM (EST) to November 10, 11:59PM (EST) regardless of which date option you select in the registration form.
