JETAA Ottawa Sempai-Kouhai (Mentor) Program

Are you an alumni of the JET Program who is interested in mentoring a soon-to-be departing JET? Register now to become a mentor to a JET scheduled to leave for Japan this year! The next batch of JETs are scheduled to depart for Japan in the late summer / early fall.

Remember the millions of questions you had when you were departing for JET? Now is your chance to help answer those questions and allay those concerns for the next generation of JET Program participants. Give back with the simple gift of your knowledge and experience by virtue of your past participation on this life-changing program.
Sempai (mentors) will be paired with kouhai (departing JETs) based off their answers. Sempai may be paired with backups (i.e. those not guaranteed to go to Japan) or possibly those highly interested in JET. Unfortunately not all willing applicants will be able to be paired, but we appreciate your willingness.

By filling out this form you agree to have JETAA share your contact information with a departing JET so that the two of you can communicate on a mutually decided basis. After the initial pairing JETAA takes no responsibility for coordination. There is no specific date/time of this program (despite the limitations of Facebook events).
